I won't this time crib about my birthday and how I am wondering how will the day go. For once I know that I will be studying boring portions of a subject called Service Management on that day, so it's not even worth feeling miserable so much in advance.
But here are just some stray thoughts that managed to flitter in my mind, some rumblings I collected while I was busy 'living the normal life.
Losing friends suck. It's like a lingering pain, a mild feeling of something stuck in your throat. You may have a dozen other people to hang out with, but losing someone genuine truly hurts, esp if you are a sentimental person like me. But then again, if the loss=gain in some way then it's a different trick altogether.
That brings me to my second point, life is queer and it takes queerer turns. You may think "hey nothing can ever go wrong with this person" and bingo the opposite happens sooner or later.
Life creates a mind-boggling matrix for you to find your way out, but make sure you stick to the right thing and even if it takes a while to sort, you will be happy in the end.
Next, reading books is not great if you have done for 3/4th of your life but it even more fun to step out, soak in the sun, talk to people and indulge in some lukhhagiri. Thanks to somebody, I am broken free of my restricted lifestyle..but I still have a long way to go.
Next, anxiety, thinking too much, worrying too much, panicking, badly holding on...all these things are poison, slow posion. Get out of the zone ASAP. It's easier said than done I agree, but can't tell you how great letting go feels. I can laugh without tiring, right from the pit of my stomach cos I'm unafraid of the future and completely living this moment.
Next point, everyone fears the future. Some people like me are paralyzed by the fact that good is happening to them and when will disaster strike next. It's because in the past, nothing has gone right for them. That is when you realise and open your eyes to a world of possibilities..good possibilities. You break free from negative thoughts and relax. Lightening doesn't strike always at the same place.
I will just say one thing in the end, you are not the PM of the country, so chill..noone is always watching you, so chill...it's your life and yes what you do is your right, so chill
And Happy Birthday to me, in advance :P
